Community Solar was established in New York under the Shared Renewables Program, signed by Governor Cuomo in 2015.  This program enables homeowners and renters in New York to subscribe to a clean energy project and save.

Common Energy works with clean energy developers across the state to provide clean energy at a discount to the public.  When you sign up with Common Energy, energy from the clean energy facility shows up as a credit on your electricity bill, lowering your energy cost.
